NEW WORK: Casa Dividida
Front cover, front/back cover and unused posters for the book cover design/illustration of Casa Dividida. The book is about the life of a wealthy young man who’s the son of a tobacco tycoon and a young woman who is a poor sugarcane cutter. The Navy Blue rectangle will eventually have a bar code.
The posters were originally designed to be weathered on the back cover, but clashed with vibe of the front cover, so the author and I both decided to go with stenciled murals instead. They were too fun not to share though. I will say that they were intentionally low content and detail since they would have only been a couple inches tall and mostly torn off the wall.
