The Determined Shirt
My shirt design for The Determined is up with a bunch of other new design shirts. The point of departure was the idea of ants resisting an exterminator as a metaphor for revolution. Pick up a copy here.

I am one of 20 artists participating in a project by Jonathan Lee where we created 20 new works on discarded library materials to be used in an exhibition benefiting the Richmond Performing Arts Alliance’s ELLA program. My approach (seen above) was to have all 20 pieces interact with each other. Those who purchase any of my individual pieces, will get a 12X18 print of the full set.
The exhibition runs from November 1 – 19 at Studio Two Three. The exhibition coincides with workshops and an online store as part of the project. More info can be found here.

Made this promo poster for Vegan Action’s “Vegan 72” three day vegan food event.
Horizontal and vertical logos for a legal service that provides representation for businesses to ensure that all their appropriate paperwork is filed and up to date. The point of departure was these lawyers’ services being what keeps the gears turning. I also did some minor changes to a WordPress website for them that you can find here.
Cover and pages from my comic told by my father about his experience coming to the US right before the Iranian Hostage Situation. It appears in an anthology that is a tribute to George Takei’s legacy. I’m honored to be along side so many talented creators. Copies can be purchased through the Japanese American National Museum store here.
My submission to DC’s Magic Bullet #15. Pick up copies in the DC area or at the Small Press Expo this weekend.
I designed this poster as well as front and back shirt design for the annual Nutzy’s Rotary Funn Run. The Rotary Club of West Richmond does a lot of good work. The Rotary Club itself was originally focused on eliminating polio amongst children. This particular event is a fundraiser for two Richmond educational programs. You can learn more about the run here: http://www.nutzyrotaryfunnrun.com/
