I created these pieces for a group exhibition currently up at Gallery5 (200 W Marshall St). The work is a reference to the 130 year history of Ubercorp, a company that is part of the mythos associated with Noah Scalin’s project, “The League of Space Pirates.” I chose to explore their fast food company.

Below is the statement:
During Ubercorp’s process of diversifying the scope of their products, they dabbled in the fast food industry creating the chain, UBERBURGER(TM). Their success lied in developing an inexpensive meat based product that would have the side effect of becoming sentient on occasion, but didn’t seem to sway the general populace who thought they were delicious burgers. Many clam that the space pirate, Mungo, is actually made of UBERBURGER meat based product.

Some of the Vegetarian festival collateral that I designed. Full scope of project: poster, b/w quarter size flyer, 3 print ads, two web banners, shirt, b/w brochure and stickers to modify old banners. It’s an awesome festival. I highly recommend attending if you are in town!

Poster and Facebook banner designs seen above for a fundraiser for the Campaign For Legal Aid. The event benefits the Central Virginia Legal Aid Society and Legal Aid Justice Center. They do a lot of great work representing folks in low-income communities. I’m also in the process of designing a growler for the event. I’ll post pictures of the actual growler when I get a chance.

I will be at MoCCA Fest April 1st and 2nd with comics and prints as seen in this post. I will be at table 134B on the first floor across from the Society of Illustrators table. The festival is from 11AM-6PM at at the luxurious and modern Metropolitan West located on West 46th Street between 11th and 12th Avenues in New York City. Work for this years Wedding Crashers Tour. The work included an award design, three ads, vendor and participant brochures, illustration, photo-manipulation, vendor and participant badges, as well as a frame design for signage (not included here). Logo was originally designed by me and event named with my consultation.
